This website is operated by The Shisha Coal Company. By browsing this site or placing an order you agree to the terms set out below. Please read them before you buy.

2. Who we are

The Shisha Coal Company sells natural coconut shell charcoal for shisha and barbecue use to customers in the United Kingdom. You can reach us through our contact page.

3. Age of purchase

Our products are intended for adult use. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where we have reason to believe this is not the case.

4. Safe use of charcoal

Charcoal burns at very high temperatures and produces carbon monoxide. Light and use our products in a well ventilated area, never indoors without ventilation, and never as a room heater. Keep lit coals away from children, pets and anything flammable, and allow them to cool fully before disposal. You are responsible for using the product safely and in line with these instructions.

5. Products and pricing

We do our best to describe and photograph our products accurately, though natural charcoal varies slightly in colour and cube shape between batches. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already placed.

6. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation. If an item turns out to be unavailable, or if we spot a pricing or description error, we may cancel your order and refund you in full.

7. Delivery

Delivery times, costs and coverage are set out in our shipping policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Returns and refunds

Your cancellation and refund rights are set out in our return and refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Our liability

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for damage or injury arising from unsafe or improper use of charcoal.

10. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, images and branding, belongs to The Shisha Coal Company or its suppliers and may not be reproduced without permission.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you order is the version that applies to your order.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
